| Social responsibility plays an important role in Ginko International Co., Ltd.'s commitment to being a good corporate citizenship. Our role as a business is not only to improve the vision of our customers and safeguard their eyes, but also to contribute to our local and global community as part of our legacy to future generations. Whether by our commitment to a clean environment and safe working conditions for our employees or our actions in helping those in need we are conscious of our responsibility. When Wenchuan earthquake damaged China and flood disaster occurred in Taiwan, Ginko took quick action donating much needed funds and sending optometry experts to the disaster area. Since 2000, we have regularly provided financial aid to the Foundation for the Blind. Ginko regularly leaves its footprint in cities and towns all over China by, among other activities, sending six (6) professional optometric vehicles equipped with an advanced optometric system and experienced ophthalmologists around the country, offering free services in poor areas and universities. |
