This partnership resulted in the creation of a sophisticated R&D department in the factory where researchers continuously explore enhanced lens material, improved mold designs, and more effective solution formulations, as well as development of other improvements to the manufacture and use of contact lens and cleaning solution. Ginko has been awarded a domestic patent of its “corneal cover lens” . The company has ten (10) patents pending on products such as "high-oxygen-permeable silicone hydrogel materials and production", "aspherical lens design," "special contact lens care solution formula" and others. Patent status on these products is expected by 2011. Quality Certification In addition to industry recognition for quality production Ginko International, facilities have achieved International certifications such as CE, ISO13485, ISO14001, and GB/T28001. The company has acquired approximately 300 Trademarks and has more than 50 product licenses.
